Nurses and Midwives: Partnering to Prevent FASDs

NPWH, together with the University of Alaska, the American College of Nurse-Midwives, and the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses have launched a new website that includes tools for practice, patient education, and professional development that aim to reduce alcohol use during pregnancy and prevent fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASDs)

Nurses and Midwives: Partnering to Prevent FASDs provides nurses, women's health nurse practitioners, and midwives with the tools and resources to counsel clients about their options for reducing or eliminating alcohol use and promoting a safer and healthier pregnancy.
