New NPWH/HealthyWomen Survey Shows Support for Co-Testing

A new survey from NPWH and HealthyWomen explored opinions about testing for cervical cancer. Over the past five years, there has been an increase in the number of healthcare providers and women who consider using the Pap and HPV tests together important to overall health. 

An astounding 95 percent of healthcare providers (and 90 percent of women) consider the pap test valuable in screening for cervical cancer. Additionally, 89 percent of healthcare providers believe co-testing is essential for women's health.
