This session will offer participants a helpful framework for thinking about and evaluating chronic vulvovaginal complaints in an office setting. In the context of thinking systematically about chronic vulvovaginal disorders, a brief overview of the most common conditions including recurrent vaginitis (yeast, bacterial vaginosis, the genitourinary syndrome of menopause, and desquamative inflammatory vaginitis), vulvar skin disorders (such as lichen simplex chronicus, lichen sclerosus, and lichen planus), pelvic floor disorders, and vulvar pain conditions will be presented.
