Please join our panel of experts as we review the 8th edition of the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner: Guidelines for Practice and Education. It is essential that all women’s health nurse practitioners (WHNPs) understand the scope and breadth of this informative, evidence-based document that sets the standards for WHNPs. This updated 8th edition of the guidelines defines the role of the WHNP, identifies entry level-practice competencies and guides educators in the development of WHNP educational programs. Additionally, these guidelines are used by a variety of stakeholders in women’s health, including employers, and regulatory and accreditation organizations.
