- Sign in (The login link can be found in the upper right-hand corner of the page.)
- Click on the title of session you wish to evaluate.
- Complete the evaluation questions and click the “Submit” button at the bottom of the page.
- After completing an evaluation, you will see a “Thank You” message. To complete your next session evaluation, you will need to click the “Back” button.
- You should now see the list of session evaluations. Click on the title of the next session you wish to evaluate.
- Claim your credits:
- Once you have completed your session evaluations as well as the overall conference evaluation, the “View Certificate” button will appear.
- You can now claim your credits by downloading a PDF, print-ready certificate.
- If you need a list of the sessions you evaluated with their corresponding credit hours, please scroll to the bottom of the evaluations page and click on the “My Evaluations” button.
**If you are an NPWH member, were once a member, or have taken CE activities with NPWH in the past, you have a username and password in our new system. Please DO NOT create a new account. Creation of multiple accounts could result in loss of CE credits as well as other NPWH services. - Click on the “Presentations” link above. (In the top right corner, click on the "sign in" button and sign in.)
- Be sure to sign in before you attempt to access the handouts or you will not be able to view the handouts.
- If you do not remember your username or password, please follow the "Forgot Password" link and instructions on the sign-in page.
- Once signed in, click on the name of the session you need handouts for and you will see all of the downloadable slides/materials for that session.
- Click download and a PDF of the slides will populate.

Wednesday Dinner Symposium - Educate the Educators II
Educate the Educators is a series of ASCCP training modules designed to teach clinicians to become local experts on HPV-related cervical cancer. Upon completion of the training, participants will receive the presentations so they can be tailored to specific audiences.
Thursday Lunch Symposium - Patient Counseling: Dispelling Myths and Misconceptions, Improving the Patient-Clinician Dialogue, and Helping Patients Select the Most Effective Form of Contraception
This case-based presentation will provide practical tools to help clinicians counsel their patients on contraception and incorporate reproductive life planning into clinician/patient discussions. The faculty will provide strategies to help clinicians overcome these barriers to effective contraceptive use, and will focus on enabling clinicians to help a woman select the contraceptive method that is most appropriate for her specific needs at the time of each office visit.
Thursday Dinner Symposium - Bone Densitometry: Performance, Interpretation, and Clinical Application
This session will educate healthcare providers about bone densitometry and osteoporosis, and about applying standards of practice.

There is no longer a Workshop #5, Educate the Educators II. This session is now the Wednesday Dinner Symposium, please see information above for additional details. You may still sign up for Workshops 1, 3, 4, and 6 (Workshop 2 is full).

Room Rate & Booking Information:
The discounted conference room rate (single/double) is $239, plus all applicable taxes. (Complimentary Wi-Fi is included in the room rate.)
To make a reservation, you can either call 504-525-2500 or book online at http://bit.ly/npwh2016. Be sure to mention the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health to receive the discounted rate when making your reservations. The cut-off date for the discounted rate is September 9, 2016.
Parking at the hotel is $45.20/day for valet parking (tax included).
Hotel Cancellation Details
For each reservation cancelled after September 2, 2016, a non-refundable full night’s room rate, plus applicable taxes, will be charged to the credit card on file. Guests who check out early (prior to the reserved check-out date) will be assessed one full night’s room charge, plus applicable taxes.
You can take a cab from the airport (MSY) to the hotel for approximately $36 (not including gratuity). A cab ride takes approximately 25-30 minutes from the airport to the hotel, depending on traffic.

Call for Abstracts
NPWH invites submission of original abstracts for podium or poster presentation at 2016 Conference. Abstracts on current research and innovative clinical projects related to issues affecting the health care of women are requested. Abstracts on completed research will be considered for podium and poster presentation. Abstracts on research in progress and innovative clinical projects will be considered for poster presentation only. Additionally, industry abstracts (research or innovative clinical projects) will be considered for poster presentation only.
Top scoring abstracts on completed research will be invited to present a brief podium presentation. All other accepted abstracts will be invited for poster presentation. Only original abstracts that have not been previously published or presented at national meetings will be considered.
