C. Guidelines for the Hormonal Management of Transgender Care

20th Annual NPWH Premier Women's Healthcare Conference

1.25 CE, 1.25 Rx (NCC Code 5)

People who identify as transgender report that finding a health care provider who is knowledgeable and experienced caring for transgender patients is a major barrier to care. WHNP's and other nurse practitioners who routinely provide sexual and reproductive health can provide care for transgender patients. This session will provide resources and review current best practices for initiating and managing hormones for medical transition.
