This program will better enable clinicians to counsel and treat women who experience genitourinary symptoms of menopause (GSM) and moderate to severe dyspareunia. The faculty will discuss the effects of GSM, provide information about over-the-counter and prescription medications, and describe the mechanisms of action of currently available agents. They will also discuss investigational and emerging treatments. They will use case-based scenarios to demonstrate strategies to alleviate patients' concerns about treatment safety and to determine the best approach in treating women with complex health histories and current statuses that affect treatment choices.
