Program Description

During this presentation we will review and discuss the changes to the CDC STI treatment guidelines. The focus will be on updates to the guidelines, current treatment recommendations and the impact of the COVID -19 pandemic particularly as it relates to those who have or are at risk for STIs 

Educational Objectives:

At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be able to:

  • Discuss updates and recommendations for the treatment and management of persons who have or are at risk for sexually transmitted infections (STI)
  • Identify best practices for providing quality STI clinical services
  • Discuss the impact that COVID-19 has had on the treatment and care of those with STI’s
